Specialties & Expertise

I typically work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma. Usually, our work together starts by creating a road map with one to three goals in mind. From there, each session reviews your goal(s) and determines how to best advance through a variety of evidence-based approaches. Along the way, you will also learn, practice, and review coping skills to help in restoring emotional regulation between sessions.

I am licensed in South Dakota and Montana and am an EMDR Certified Therapist with specialized training in Flash Technique and DeTUR protocol. My “style” tends towards a caring, curious, and casual approach that meets you where you are and helps you get where you want to be.

Types of Clients Served

I was once asked who my ideal client would be. My answer? My ideal client is the person who is ready to do the hard work of showing up, being authentic, and doing the work both in – and in between – sessions.

Part of my commitment to you includes meeting you where you are and respecting who you are and what you bring with you – that includes your race, culture, relationship status, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, lived experience, beliefs, body shape, age, and ability. I am committed to creating a space where you feel safe, valued, and supported in your healing and growth.

I am licensed to work with clients in South Dakota and Montana either in person or virtually through telehealth. I can work with clients from other states so long as sessions are in person.

While I work primarily with individual teens and adults of all ages, I occasionally work with couples and families on a case-by-case basis.
